Portrait

Sittings run about ninety minutes, usually in daylight, usually with far fewer people in the room than clients expect. We photograph founders, writers, cooks and crews, and we send a first edit within four days.

Editorial

Commissions for magazines, weekend supplements and long-form features, shot on location with a small kit. We are used to short notice, tight corridors and one honest hour with the subject.

Places

Places are shot over two or three visits, because the light that makes a building is rarely there the first time. Architects, hotels and a few tourism boards commission this work.
